What Is a Sigil?
A sigil is a type of written, painted, or inscribed symbol or sign that's believed to have a magical meaning or representation. In particular, they're often used to focus or manifest energy towards a goal or specific outcome.
Many people use them to help affirmations or wishes come true, and they're often helpful in improving people's confidence and giving them more hope for the future. The visuals of a sigil also help you be reminded of your intentions or goals, to keep them in the forefront of your mind.
The word sigil comes from the term "sigillum" which means "seal" in Latin. Sigils are also closely related to chaos magick, which is a type of modern magic tradition that came about during the 1970s in England.
What Is the Sigil Maker?
Our sigil maker is a free and easy-to-use resource for creating your own sigils in seconds. You can use it as many times as you'd like, and there's no need to download a program, as it works right in your browser. It works in seconds, and you don't need any previous knowledge or experience regarding sigils or magic to try it out.
While there are many ways to make a sigil, this tool uses the Kamea model to generate sigils. This involves turning the letters in a word or phrase into numbers, and then turning those numbers into a symbol.
The process begins by writing out the term or statement, and then removing all numbers, punctuation symbols, repeat letters, and spaces from the statement. Once you have the shortened collection of letters, they're converted into numbers.
To make this possible, the tool uses the Western numerology system, which is as follows:

To actually create the sigil, our tool uses a 3x3 square as follows, where each number is represented by a cell in the square.

Here's an example of how the process of making a sigil works. If you want to create a sigil and use the word "Wealthy" as your statement of intent/will, begin by removing vowels, spacing, and punctuation, which leaves you with "WLTHY". Turning these into numbers according to the system mentioned earlier, you're left with "53287".
As a result, your sigil begins with a circle on the "5" spot in the 3x3 grid, and then forms a line from cell to cell that eventually ends at "7".
So while it's possible to make this conversion manually, this tool simplifies the process and ensures it's as fast as possible.
How to Use the Sigil Maker Tool
- Begin using the tool by entering your will into the input box. This could be a goal you have, a statement you believe, an intention, or anything else.
- Once you've written the statement, click the "Generate a Sigil" button to let the tool generate your sigil according to the system mentioned earlier.
- In addition to viewing your sigil in the tool, you're also able to save it to your computer or mobile device, or download it.
- To repeat the process and generate another sigil, you can write a new intention or click on the "Generate a New Sigil" for your same intention.
Do You Always Get the Same Sigil?
The core Kamea method will always produce the same sequence from your intention. However, our generator also offers a randomized variation.
After you create the sigil, click the "Generate New Sigil" button to produce a new version. In this method, we shuffle the path while keeping the first and last points intact.
